Dakota Waxed Canvas Oversized Weekend Bag
Out West, the land doesn’t follow a schedule. The aspens turn gold when they’re ready. The weather shifts without warning. And the road? It’s often more gravel than pavement. That’s part of the draw—this raw, unpredictable beauty. You don’t ask for permission out here; you just throw your gear in the back of the SUV and go.
That’s why we built the Dakota Waxed Canvas Oversized Weekend Bag—for the kind of person who’s more at home with dust on their boots and a map full of backroads. Made from rugged 15oz wax-coated canvas and top-grain, vegetable-tanned leather with a distressed vintage finish, this bag is designed to take a beating and come back asking for more. It's stitched with tough, durable nylon thread and finished with black distressed hardware that feels right at home beside old thermoses, pocketknives, and campfire smoke.
The interior is nylon-lined, making it easy to clean after a few days on muddy trails or dusty ranch roads. With room for everything from extra layers to notebooks and field guides, it’s made for those last-minute escapes when the only plan is to drive until the landscape changes.
So if your idea of a weekend well spent includes dirt roads, cold mornings, and stories told under open skies—this is your bag. Fill it up, slam the tailgate, and don’t look back.

Let customers speak for us
It looks and feels good.
It fits and looks great
This one is good quality. Heavy feel lettering sewn on and not ironed or painted on. Good stuff
I love the jacket, you did a nice job on. It looks solid right size and all.
Great fit, love the smell of new leather. How do I get the wrinkles? Think the packaging could have been better. Overall very impressive for the cost.
Amazing quality and great looks - a steal at this price!
Fits exactly as stated, if you want wiggle room add a size

Excelente. Thanks for the great service
Top-tier build and a true western aesthetic. The leather is soft, warm, and flexible right out of the box. I sent detailed measurements and asked for subtle stitch changes; the final result fits like it was made just for me. Shipping was prompt and well-communicated. The fringe placement is even, and the lining is smooth against a shirt or hoodie. I’m thrilled with the quality and already thinking about ordering a second jacket in a different tone.
I was a little skeptical ordering leather online, but this Hunt Club brown wax vest won me over the second I unboxed it. The leather feels substantial yet broken‑in, and the black paisley lining looks premium. I requested customized stitching and a slightly tapered fit and Leather Chapter nailed it. Delivery was on time and the packaging kept everything pristine. After two weekend rides, pockets, snaps, and seams all feel rock solid. I’m already planning my next order for a black version.
This feels like a handcrafted heirloom. The buckskin has that warm, natural tone and a subtle pull-up effect when you move. Fringe and seams are straight, tight, and clean. I sent exact measurements for sleeve length and torso and the fit arrived spot on. Shipping updates were clear and it landed right when promised. After a few wears, the leather is molding to me and remains comfortable indoors and out. Quality, fit, and timely delivery made this an easy five stars.
Outstanding piece. The denim‑style rider cut sits perfectly over a hoodie or flannel without riding up on the bike. I asked for a custom chest measurement and they delivered exactly as promised. The brown wax finish has a classy, rugged character that gets compliments everywhere. Shipping was fast and right on schedule. Quality control is obvious in the stitching and hardware. This is a buy‑it‑for‑life kind of vest. I’ll be ordering another for my brother soon.
